 The Algeria national football team is the national football team of Algeria. The national team is one of the strongest in Africa and has a long history of participating in world championships.

The most prominent achievements of the Algerian national team include winning the African Cup of Nations twice, the first in 1990 when the tournament was being held in Algeria, and the second in 2019 in Egypt. The national team also participated in five World Cup tournaments, reaching the round of 16 in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
